2021 April 29th $5,093,000 for a sapphire from Kashmir

A 28.18 ct. Kashmir sapphire, in a diamond platinum ring was sold for $5,093,000 at Sotheby’s New York on 2021 April 29.

It is a new auction world record for price per carat for a sapphire.
