In June 18th, 2018: a shower of peridots

The volcano Kilauea in the Hawaiian Islands returned in eruption since last May 3rd.

There was a rare phenomenon. The eruption powerfully ejected, at a high height, a magma which, by cooling, crystallized fragments of peridots (olivine).
