Diamond (green)

Diamond (green)
  • Etymology : From Greek " adamas " = invincibility. The name diamond was used for the first time by Pline 100 BC.

The green diamond is a very rare diamond.

The diamond obtains this color generally during an irradiation (often natural). Atoms disappear and leave "gaps" of the vacant sites which absorb the light differently and highlight the green.
