Chrysoberyl

Chrysoberyl is made up of three kinds of stones: Chrysoberyl, Alexandrite, Cat’s Eye.

When aluminum and beryllium are replaced by iron, the colour of the stone is yellow-green, yellow-brown, olive-green, grey-green, colourless to brownish and is called chrysoberyl.

When aluminum is replaced by chromium, the stone is called alexandrite. It is the rarest variety of Chrysoberyl.
