The andradite garnet has different names, depending of is formula:
- Demantoid : it is the more valuable garnet, with a yellow greenish color, to a deep green color. Its color is coming from Cromium;
- Melanite : it is a black garnet with a high level of titanium;
- Topazolite : its color yellow brownish is simlar as topaz.
